For over 11 years, Jumping June has been a trusted source for premium European knit fabrics known for their exceptional softness, durability, and consistent quality. Our collection balances unique designer prints with reliable, high-quality basics, giving makers both creative inspiration and dependable staples for everyday sewing.
The vast majority of our fabrics are Organic and/or Oeko-Tex® certified, meaning they are tested for harmful substances and produced with safer environmental and human-friendly processes. This matters not just for the planet, but for the people wearing the finished garments — especially children and those with sensitive skin.
We proudly source many of our specialty and designer fabrics from small, family-run European mills and suppliers, because we believe small businesses working together can make a big impact. Every fabric we bring in supports skilled makers, ethical production, and communities that care deeply about their craft.
To complement these specialty finds, we also partner with long-established and highly respected European textile manufacturers to offer a large, dependable collection of high-quality basic knit apparel fabrics. This partnership ensures excellent color consistency, reliable quality, and ongoing availability across essential solids and wardrobe staples. These fabrics are all Oeko-Tex® certified, making them a safe and trusted choice for garments worn close to the skin.

How It All Started
Jumping June Textiles LLC is owned and operated by Rachel Redman, a lifelong sewing enthusiast whose business journey began in 2013 with a very practical inspiration — her baby.
Rachel launched her first company, Jumping June Designs, creating fitted cloth diapers. As demand grew, the business expanded into custom clothing, where she first discovered the magic of European knit fabrics. She fell in love with their superior quality and vibrant designs, but quickly realized how difficult and expensive they were to source in small quantities.
In 2015, Rachel decided to bridge that gap for other makers by bringing both specialty European prints and reliable, high-quality basics to the U.S. market in one curated shop. Jumping June Textiles was born with just two supplier accounts and a big vision. The business quickly grew to over 35 retailer relationships, offering a broad and thoughtfully balanced selection of fabrics.
In 2017, JJT launched its first exclusive in-house fabric collection, collaborating directly with artists to create unique, original designs. Due to growing demand, wholesale was introduced in 2018, allowing other shops to carry Jumping June Textiles’ signature prints worldwide.
Today, Rachel continues to combine her love of sewing, design, and community by curating fabrics that inspire creativity, support small businesses, and give makers the consistency they need to bring their ideas to life.
